Nuvo-11160GC is developed for demanding practical applications and makes it easier to connect necessary sensors and control units thanks to comprehensive I/O connectivity, while its compact form allows installation in space-constrained environments. For stationary applications such as vision-based robot control, AI-powered vision inspection, and video analytics, it offers 8 USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and 6 GbE ports for multi-camera setups, 4-channel isolated DI and 4-channel isolated DO for factory automation integration, and an optional 10GbE port for high-bandwidth communication. For greater I/O and functionality, the MezIO® interface enables flexible expansion: MezIO®-U4 adds 4 extra USB 3.1 ports, MezIO®-G4 adds 4 extra GbE ports, and MezIO®-D330 adds 16-channel DIO.
For more demanding mobile robot applications such as AMRs and outdoor delivery robots, the optional onboard PoE+ function simplifies the implementation of GigE cameras, while mini-PCIe slots support expansion with 4G/5G modules for remote control. A proven thermal design with an expansion cassette design and an upgraded GPU cooling fan ensures reliable performance across a wide temperature range from -25°C to 60°C, making it well-suited for outdoor environments. In terms of power efficiency, the Intel® Core™ Ultra 200S delivers 1.2x higher CPU performance while consuming only 80 % of power compared to the previous generation, enabling longer battery life for mobile robotics.
