Onyx accelerates medical AI with ACCEL-JS2000 powered by NVIDIA IGX Orin

Onyx has recently announced the ACCEL-JS2000, powered by the NVIDIA IGX Orin platform, which is specifically designed as a powerful aid for AI implementation of medical devices. The ACCEL-JS2000 combines an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Industrial module, an NVIDIA RTX A6000 ADA GPU, and an NVIDIA ConnectX network interface card (NIC) to offer a powerful medical AI experience designed to be ready for IEC/UL 60601-1 safety and IEC/UL 60601-1-2 EMC certification. The ACCEL-JS2000 includes 7-10 years of standard product lifetime with an optional extended 10-year support. More importantly, the ACCEL-JS2000 also integrates a 7-inch front touch screen that allows users to view captured images and manipulate the system or adjust values through the front screen.

Onyx's ACCEL-JS2000, based on NVIDIA IGX Orin, is targeted to support medical applications that require high bandwidth I/O, real-time high-performance computing, AI inference, visualisation and advanced graphics. Examples of ACCEL-JS2000 application scenarios include endoscopy, laparoscopy, arthroscopy, surgical robotics, surgical microscopy, ultrasound, X-ray fluoroscopy, radiotherapy, interventional imaging and treatment systems.
